When a staff member steals by you, knowing how to handle situation can be hard. There are various possibilities open and exactly how you handle employee fraud will depend upon what you look for. Obviously you will want the amount of money back, but what else would you like to achieve? Do you need the consumer being sacked? Would it be worth making a public example out from the matter? Exactly what are your businesses rules on employee fraud? Perhaps there have been extraordinary circumstances that led to the employee committing fraud? Every case is different and how you handle employee fraud should be based upon the average person circumstances involved.
